Great Guide for Gardening

This was the push I needed to get back into gardening. Very informative and helpful. Beginner gardener friendly!

My whole view on gardening method has changed after reading this book.

I heard about square foot gardening so I bought this book. I learned so much from this book. I never new that I could grow so much in such a small space but my first year following the directions in this book, my little 25x30 garden yeilded a lot more crops then I have ever harvested from my garden in any other year. I will never garden with the traditional rows and paths method again. If you live in a place where there is not much room to have a garden, then this book is for you. Its amazing how much you can grow in just a 4x4 raised bed if thats all the room you have.

Encouraging us to Just Start

This book All New Square Foot Gardening book was very encouraging and the idea, that no matter how small you need to start, it makes a difference and getting started starts the learning. Written very informal and contained lots of examples. Breaks container gardening down into small pieces for the beginner.

An excellent push in the right direction

This book has such a wealth of excellent information, and is an easy read. The writer's style is simple and straightforward and the information is easy to digest and put into action. These days when our food sources seem to be at risk, growing our own food is a smart thing to do, and this is one of the smartest books to start with to get the ball rolling. A purchase that you will not regret.

Everything I want or needed to know about planters in the back yard. From DIY making your own potting soils, to caring and growing vegetables. Writer is a good story teller..enjoyed this book!
