A demonstration that the mental mechanism known as splitting has too long been neglected illustrating that it is one of the two most fundamental aspects of normal and abnormal personality formation... This description may be from another edition of this product.
An excellent book on the subject of Projective Identification, a psychodynamic concept developed by Melanie Klein and her group of followers, namely Wilfred Bion, Hanna Segal and Herbert Rosenfeld. Probably the J. S. Grotstein book is the best introduction on the subject from a post-kleinian and post-bionian standpoint. Highly recomended and can be complemented by the T. H. Ogden book.
