Spnioff is a political satire novel, set in the near future. Ambitious politicians decide to establish the Southern States of America. The plan is to have Texas, Oklahoma. Louisiana and Kansas secede from the United States by way of Plebicites, to set up a new country, devoid of the laws and governmental restrictions.; especially political correctness. Various supporters harbor their special causes, but the underlying motive is oil money. All the states selected are rabidly in favor of the change, but one old retired politician in Kansas decides to block the whole process . The political battles gain momentum ensuring the entire country is welded to the TV and the returns of the election.. Many careers are destroyed on both sides of the proposal. Two very successful young people in Kansas decide to do what the can to help defeat the proposals,. They lose sight of their goal and become a bewildering match made in Heaven. The two Senators who organize the event are quaking in their boots at the thought of wasting hundreds of million dollars, if the plan fails.It all comes down to election night as the future Southern States of America hangs in pandemonium.
