This Book Is Great!

Overall I think this book is very useful for the beginner wiccan. I use it all the time for ideas on spells and charms. At first i was skeptical on buying it because the cover is a bit cheesy, however, the info inside of it really helped me. Im so glad i got it and recommend it to any wicca beginner.

Good book for beginners

I'm a 12 year old wiccan and just entered the world of wicca a year ago. This book is a perfect book for explaining spells. My only critism is that Rain doesn't explain much about wicca in this book. Otherwise, this book is awesome. Blessed be.

a teens guide to spells

Most of the time teens new to the craft go straight to books geared towards adults. Many find themselves overwhelmed by all the information in a hard to understand format. That being the case, author Gwinevere Rain decided to write her own book about Wicca, ritual, and magick especially for teens. In part one teens learn about Wicca- a natured based religion also known as the craft. Part two introduces teens to magick and ritual by giving her own rules of magick and a ritual format. By part three Gwinevere introduces spells, chants, and incantations. Part four lists easy to understand correspondences and part five describes how to make your our Book of Shadows. In my opinion, this is a great book for teens starting in the Craft. You can tell Rain was looking for her fellow teens when she talked about candle safety. She was very responsible in her explanation on coming out of the Broom Closet, "When it comes to telling your parents, I recommend it, especial if you are under eight teen." Her style of writing is easy to understand and is a pleasure to read. She gives easy to understand information on colours, herbs, oils, and how to integrate them into your spell work. Detailed information on moon phases and types of magick (candle magick, cord magick). Gwievere Rain was sixteen years old when she wrote Spell Craft for Teens. She knows what it is like to be a teen and a Witch. She gives magickal ways of dealing with some of these issues such as the Gossip Stop incantation on page 81. Bottom line, this book gives great information to teens seeking an alternative spiritual path. It is a great introduction to Wicca, Witchcraft, and Spell craft with many thought provoking topics.

this book rocks

This book is wonderful and I have no negative comments about it. I think this book would be perfect for anyone. It has a lot of information on witchcraft for beginners.Take my advice:its worth the money. Guinevere writes this book in an easy to understand manner for all ages.

This is a wonderfully written book!

Although I am not a teenager, I really enjoyed reading this book. Ms. Rain certainly knows her stuff, and I found it very well written and thought out.For young people who are interested in following the Wiccan path, this is a good book for you to pick up. Ms. Rain covers Wiccan terms, spells, chants, and has a glossary that lists words and items assoicated with Wiccan pratices and beliefs.In closing let me say that I highly recommend this book. I hope those who read it enjoy it as much as I did.
