If you're into S.E. make-up, this is a good book to have on your table.

Intro book

Great intro book. Good use of easily found items. This is good for students. Lots of pictures. Good use of household items and very fun solutions for special effects. Most enjoyable to read.

Great entry level book

This book has a lot of great colour photos showing you special effects make-up you can do without any former knowledge. If you are an expert this is probably not as exciting for you as it was for me. I tried one or two of the tricks shown in this book. Did I make it look great? Well, no. I don't have the experience in order to make it look good yet. Still, it was helpful in giving me the entry level knowledge in seeing what is possible to make for small no-budget student productions. It contains lots of cool bloody and gory effects. At first I feared it was a bit too pricey, but it was in fact great value for my money. Fun for both kids and grown ups.
