Space Bounty

By Janson Davies

He was hired to bring runaway brides back. Instead, he learned why they ran.

On the lawless edge of settled space, Trace Hawkings makes his living tracking brides who vanish from mail-order marriage contracts. With Pete, his scarred war-droid companion, Trace follows trails through mining moons, rail towns, gambling barges, and forgotten colonies.

But every case teaches him the same hard truth: not every runaway is a thief, and not every husband deserves to be found.

As Trace uncovers a hidden network helping endangered women escape, his work becomes something larger than bounty hunting. It becomes rescue. And when an old message leads him to Willow Creek Station, Trace must face the one trail he has avoided longest - the road back to love, home, and himself.

Space Bounty: The Hunt for the Runaway Brides is a heartfelt space western about frontier justice, mercy, found family, second chances, and one loyal and unforgettable war droid named Pete.
