Southern sayings devotional

The devotions in this book all start with a Southern saying. My favorite one is 33....She's Got Gumption, "Gumption" can be defined as grit, courage, spunk, initiative, and sometimes get-up-and-go. It's the story of Ruth, she had gumption, she was devoted to Naomi, followed her to Bethlehem and found favor with Boaz. We all need gumption to share our faith and sometimes just to get through a day, may our faith be like hers. I think I also like it because I'm named after her and Naomi.
