Soul Quest: A Healing Journey for Women of the African Diaspora

I recommend that All sister's get and read this book. I first came across the book about 9 years ago. It was mind blowing, and I knew I had to share it with my sisters. I have even taken the books questions and redesigned them to fit the life of a teen ager. I can go on and on, or I could try to find words befitting of this life changing book. I loved it so much, cause it made take a look at myself. You have to be ready to take that inner look, and with help from the questions that you will answer....."Things shall be revealed" In the first chapter there are two question: When was the last time you were mad?: When was the last time you were sad?: Who was involved and what did you say to them and yourself about the situation? When I took a close look, I found it was my brother. So, I stopped relying on him and took back some of my independence, as well as some control. As a result, my brother and me got along much better. And I was able to see the blessing to have the ability to be independent. Thank You Sister Denese
