This book grabbed my attention right from the beginning and I just wanted to keep reading to see "who done it." I like Ms. Merrill's style of writing... would definitely read any of her future books.
Some Like It Red Hot

Some Like It Red Hot I laughed out loud, cried and got lost in this book. The suspense, well you just want to keep reading until you find out what the heroine gets into next and "who done it". The story or parts of the story is the story of many women in our society. Ms. Merrill gives us all hope, she shows that life is not lost through disappointments, loss loves or loss jobs. There is also an underlying story here about the ills of Corporate America. Ms. Merrill is a real story teller. I understand this is Ms. Merrill's first novel, but found out she had two short stories and bought them also. She is an engaging and thought provocting novelist. I rank her with Rita Mae Brown, Baldocchi and Grisham. I look forward to reading her future novels.
