Looking for a thoughtful gift that will be cherished for many Christmases to come? Socks for Christmas is the little red book that has touched countless lives. In the late 1960s, New York Times bestselling author Andy Andrews thought he was having a very good Christmas... until he got socks from his Aunt Ruth--unarguably a very lousy gift.
How could he know that those lousy socks would change Christmas and him forever
Socks for Christmas is great for all ages and will give your family an instant Christmas tradition. This timeless holiday book:

Whether you read it yourself or listen to Andy on the CD (included with your purchase), Socks for Christmas is a great way to kick off the season.
This is a classic to help remind us of all that we have and all those who do not. It is a must read, something you will never forget.
This is an awesome book. I bought a pair of socks to go with the "Socks for Christmas" book and that was the Christmas gift this year. Made it easy but special. Everyone loved it! The book was short and sweet, only an 11 minute listen on the CD that was included. (Less than that if you read it.) It was nice to be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas. Highly recommended.
This book is what Christmas is all about. We were at a party and the host's gave everyone this book with a pair of socks as we listened to the story. It was so moving that we did the same for our children on Christmas Eve. Loved it!!
I gave this to my 15 year daughter before I had a chance to read it. She came down from her room later with a tear in her eye, but with a deeper understanding of the true meaning of Christmas. It will touch your heart and it will make you laugh, truely a story for all ages. I'm almost fifty and the pictures of the retro toys are great. Put this one away with "The Night Before Christmas", in the box with the Christmas decorations. You'll want to make reading it a Christmas tradition, whether you read it yourself or listen to Andy on the CD, it's a great way to kick off the season. Merry Christmas

Socks are such a basic item that they're easy to take for granted...and leave on the floor, shove under beds, or lose to the dryer monster. (It happens to the best of us.) But socks actually deserve mad props for keeping our wiggly and sometimes stinky feet dry, warm, and free from blisters, so in honor of National Sock Day, here's a little history of how they became a thing and some "rules" to follow. (And yes, no socks with sandals is one of them, but that wasn’t always the case...)
