Practical applications

The books offers an overview of social skills and child development and its importance in adaptive functioning. Assessment issues are incorporated with suggested instruments. The reader is walked through on how to plan for a training format. The modules are concise and provides collaboration with participants. Because the modules were empirically based, there is some level of certainity of proven efficacy. Although dated 1983, the modules come handy and useful in an inpatient setting.
