Great book!

I read this book for my Wealth & Poverty course and I loved it! Sernau describes the political, economical, and social issues that pertain our daily lives in a meticulous engaging fashion. At the end of each chapter you are presented with a couple of discussion questions that tests your comprehension of the book. Furthermore, the author also suggests ways you can participate within your community to tackle key issues he points out in the book. I think this book is essential for readers who are curious about social issues, and also for those who aspire to make a change in this world.
