Wow! What a heroine! What tension! What a story!

This book is not your usual run-of-the-mill mail-order-bride story. Adrian,the hero is a twin to the hero in Angel in Marble, and he's in love with his brother's wife. When he gets a brother in Scotland to find him a wife, he wants a virgin. He gets Maggie, a widowed Scot with 3 kids. Talk about conflict! First he learns she was married before and almost loses it, then the 3 kids show up on his doorstep! But, it doesn't take Maggie or the children long to teach him what love is. The descriptions of California & the lumbering empire will make you think you've been there. You'll be treated to some delightful characters and a style of writing you will love.

This is a book you will fall into & won't put down!

You'll be cheering for the hero & heroine to get together from their first meeting! This book is so full of emotion and tension,you'll want to read it straight through. Once again, Elaine Coffman packs a book full of unforgettable characters. You'll love the two aunts in this one.
