A fun story about 9 little puppies made of snow living high up in the snowy mountains. They were all brought there by a snow owl and thousands of sparkly flurries who fly through the night over mountains and snow covered trees. This book introduces another little snowpuppy named Star, who is brought there to join the others. Now there are now 10 little snowpuppies who all live together and are protected and sheltered by the wind. The puppies, who are all named after different types of snowflakes, frolic and play in the snowy mountains and have many adventures together. This is the first book in a series about snowpuppies.
