Snoopy battles the Red Baron in the "skies over France" and fails gloriously

As a child, all of my friends and I loved the "Peanuts" books by Charles Schulz. When one person acquired a copy, it was passed around so that all of us could read it. My favorite of the many story lines used in the strip was when Snoopy "flies" his doghouse in aerial battle against the German ace flier the Red Baron. This book is based on that plotline throughout, a running sequence of the adventures of Snoopy in his hopeless battles against the superior foe. In that sense it is a joy to read, it brings back the memories and imagination of my childhood.
