Janet was a good friend of mine and she also lived in my neighbourhood. She was a nursing mother as she had just given birth to a pair of twins. As fate would have it however, one of the babies died a few days later. She was devastated by her child's death and in a terrible mood as a result. Every now and then, I visited her just to make sure she was not too depressed. She was a single mother because the father of her kids had refused to acknowledge the pregnancy.I left Janet's house and went home to meet my elder brother.
