Trout Fishing the Great Smoky Mountains

This is an excellent book. It is very well written and informative, too. I have fished several of the streams in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and it has helped me immensely. I can tell that Don Kirk is an accomplished fisherman, a lot of the authors only fish with their typewriter. He has made locating streams easier and offers very good advice on how to fish them. I would have to say that this is the best trout fishing book I have ever read and I have read many of them.

A must for the tourist anglers in the Smokies

This is an excellent book for the angler visiting the Smoky Mountains. This book lists all the streams in the area with the following information: type of fish, size of fish, size of stream, location and fishing pressure. If one wants to beat the crowds without shelling out the cash for a guide, by this book and a map and you are set.
