"Why doesn't my baby sleep better?" weary parents ask. "How can we get more sleep?" There are as many answers to these questions as there are babies and families, says Dr. Avi Sadeh in this helpful... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is the best book I came across about sleep issues in babies. It is written to the point, without wasting tired and sleep-deprived parent's time repeating the same thing many times, as some other sleep books do. Written by someone who actually studies baby sleep in clinical environment and has experience with helping parents and babies to sleep better, it offers clear advice and educated information on various issues parents have about baby's sleep - check the content inside the book and you will likely find some of the questions you have been worried about! What I also like about this book, that I haven't found in many other books on infants' sleep issues I read, is some answers to why some babies sleep 10 hours through the night very early on and some (like mine) wake up every 2 hours - the answer is not simple, but it gave me some possibilities so that I can understand the whole issue much better. It covers several methods on sleep "training" which is much better than "one size fits all" approach many other books have. It also offers advice on how to prevent sleep problems, so it's a good read while you still pregnant. I simply don't have enough praise for this book, and I hope you will find it as useful as I did.
