Sixth Covenant Wonderful Historical Fiction

Thoene and Thoene have written a wonderful historical fiction of the events surrounding the birth of Christ. True to the biblical texts and incorporating realistic characters among shepherds, magi, midwives and residents of Bethlehem and Jerusalem. Wonderful Christmas novel.

Great Series, Great Authors

I have read every single one of the books by the Thoenes and always anxiously await a new one. This series of books pulls together the characters and events in Jesus' life to tell a compelling version of the events from the viewpoint of several of the characters. They provide insights into life in Biblical times and untold portions of Jesus' life while not overreaching the fictionalization. You will not be sorry that you pick up their books!
