-An intimate photographic exploration of sisterhood Few relationships in life are as deep, intense and complicated as those of sisters. Photographer Sophie Harris-Taylor spent two years photographing and interviewing more than 100 sets of sisters in an effort to understand and capture all that sisterhood means. Accompanied by quotes and texts revealing each set of sisters' individual stories, the viewer is offered a rare glimpse into the histories, complexities and stories behind each unique relationship. Themes of trust, jealousy, memory, loss, petulance and unconditional love are explored both through the texts and the imagery. Shot using natural light and a soft touch that only a sister herself could bring, this work reminds us that through good or bad, love or hate, a sister will always be a sister.
