WHEN I READ THIS BOOK 4 YEARS AGO I WAS AMAZED WITH THE SORIES... EACH OF THEM REPRESEENT THE LOVE THAT WE ALL HAVE IN OUR HIDDEN HEARTS... KATHERINE AND THE REST OF THE AUTHORS SPENT GREAT TIME INVOLVED IN THIS FEATURE AND WHENEVER SOMEONE READS ANY OF THEIR BOOKS, SPECIALLY THIS ONE, THEY CAN FEEL THE PASSION GROWING IN THE ENVIROMENT.... I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS BOOK FOR 4 YEARS AND NOW THAT I FOUND IT I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE.... HOPE THAT YOU ENJOY THIS BOOK AS MUCH AS I DID AND STILL DO... IT IS A BOOK WORTH HAVING IN YOUR COLLECTION!!!

Sisters & Secrets--Romantic Suspense At It's Best!

I was intrigued by the concept--four sisters, four seasons, and a single gun that arrives to change their lives forever. Having each author bring to life the voice of a different woman was truly a great idea--the stories stand alone, yet blend beautifully as one. I think other readers will enjoy the change of settings and mood each author brings to the book. Like talking to sisters who are each unique, Sisters & Secrets will leave you with a warm feeling--and hoping there will be another "family" reunion down the road!

Great romantic suspense anthology

This work of fiction is a tremendous hybrid that takes short story elements, but places them in an anthology that reads more like a series containing four romance novellas all tied together in one book. Each author has held up their end, turning this into a must read for contemporary romance fans. A decade has passed since that fatal Christmas Eve in 1977, when four young girls realize that their mother has just committed suicide. The oldest sister Lauren still struggles with the event that ended her childhood. She goes to Hawaii to try to finally come to grips with her haunting past where she meets Peter, who is being stalked by an unidentified female killer. They fall in love, however she needs to overcome her past demons and he must really believe that she is not the Black Widow planning to murder him. The second oldest sibling Ardath is obsessed with author Ethan Jameson, her deceased mother's lover and the person she holds responsible for her mother's death. She plans to kill him with the same gun her mother used on herself. However, when she meets him, they form an instant, mutual attraction to one another. Successful lawyer Dinah has made a killer's hit list. The police are convinced Adam Jacobs is her assailant, but his brother Jake knows otherwise that Adam's ex-wife is the killer. As Jake holds Dinah prisoner to protect her, they begin to fall in love with one another. However, Dinah believes that Jake is holding her until his sibling arrives. The baby of the family Yardley is a successful real estate agent. She finds herself both very attracted and wary of builder Kyle Baker.
