THis book is one of my fav saddle club books it is about stevie being jelice about a girl that she think is sealing her boyfriend so steive will do any thing to get her BF back even if it means jumping side saddle!! :0 :)

COOLEST BOOK

This book I'd say was the best. And I've heard of the sidesaddle being called a knee rest. I've ridden it before, and mainly when i first did it, i found it hard to do personally. To find your balance. Thats when i FIRST started riding, now i ride astride, but still. Honestly I thought this was THE best book. Mainly because i love reading about Stevie and Phil and how Stevie can let her competitive side take control

This book is BETTER than I expected it to be

I have been on the web recently and alot of people have been saying this book is dull and Stevie is a snob so I went to the Library and got it to read and I think it was more competition and reputation than Stevie being a jerk

Book Review Directly From Show Jumper

There's a new rider at Pine Hollow Stables. Her name is Tiffani. One member of The Saddle Club in particular is having a problem dealing with the newcomer. Carole Hanson and Lisa Atwood think Tiffani's a good rider, but Stevie Lake can't get over her riding gear -- it's pink and covered in lace and frills. On top of that, Stevie just doesn't like Tiffani. It doesn't make sense, but she can't help it. When her boyfriend flirts with the new girl, Stevie stops seeing pink and starts seeing red. And when he praises Tiffani's riding skills, Stevie goes wild. Suddenly she's in competition with Tiffani and determined to win at all costs -- even if it means learning to jump fences while riding sidesaddle. Stevie's friends are convinced she's lost her mind. But Stevie's determined to "out-girl" Tiffani. She's even bought a fluffy pink sweater!

Summary

Stevie, Carole, and Lisa meet a new rider at Pine Hollow. Her name is Tiffani. Tifanni's equipment is frill, lacey, and PINK. For some reason, although not justified, Stevie can't stand Tiffani. Stevie's competitive trait gets the better of her, and she decides she must "Out-Girl" Tiffani, even if it means learning to jump sidesaddle! (Not directly from Show Jumper). Humm... sounds interesting.
