The marriage ceremony doesn't go as planned because the one man she thought she was no longer married to is now standing in the church proclaiming differently. Guido wanted Amber from the first moment he saw her and those feelings were reciprocated. I found myself wincing from Guido's forcefulness but then a moment later his feelings for Amber would be tender and poignant. Amber's despair at being in love with him and feeling as if he didn't care made me upset more than once. Sicilian Husband, Blackmailed Bride had me hook, line, and sinker.
