oh the nostalgia

I'm now currently 22 years old and on the hunt for this manga again after literally losing all my volumes. I loved this manga so much, the art is seriously amazing!

Shugo Chara! is awesome!

I love Shugo Chara! Its one of the best animes/manga out there! well, to me it is! The art work is amazing! very detailed! The books are very similar to the anime but they leave some parts out in the book. but oh well! still worth buying no matter what! a lot of my friends like this series because of amuto. AMUTO forever!!! amuxikuto! lol! anyways...BUY THIS! ITS A TOTAL MUST HAVE!

Truly Unique

Shugo Chara is currently my favorite Manga. Amu, the heroine of the story, finds three eggs in her bed one morning after wishing to become her true self the night before. The eggs eventually hatch into three Guardian Characters, Ran, Miki, and Su, who are Amu's would-be selves. They, along with Amu's friends, guide her on her journey of self-discovery. During the Manga, Amu meets the "Prince of Seiyo Elementary", Hotori Tadase. She immediately takes a liking to the young want-to-be king. Shortly afterward, she runs into Tsukiyomi Ikuto, a cat-like boy who loves to tease her. These two are Amu's main love interests though she does have multiple other crushes. The storyline is unique and has its own style. The whole concept of "Heart's Eggs" and "Guardian Characters" (A.K.A. Shugo Charas) make this Manga stand out. Amu's stubborn and hot-headed personally (that Ikuto constantly brings out by teasing her) make the Manga humorous. Overall, the plotline is very different than those of other Shoujo Mangas. I'm mostly interested in Amu's love life; whether or not she chooses Ikuto or Tadase. (Personally, I think that she should choose Ikuto, but that's just me!)

This manga is so KAWAII!!!!!!!!!

I absolutley love this manga series!!!!!! This is the first manga series I ever bought and I'm glad I did!!!! Although, the first volume was a little boring(definetley something I couldn't read again and again) but the fourth volume is the best I've read so far! I'm really looking forward to the last volume (the fifth one) and you should really get this series!!!!

This book is great I have read it 5 times!! I love it!!! Also I think it good age for 10 up. I love the part where those three eggs hatched for her! Read this book it is a great book to read!!!!

Shugo Chara Rocks!

shugo chara is a great manga, and it's also the longest one I've read so far (besides Peach-Pit's Rozen Maiden). the plot is really easy to follow and although I found the artwork a bit confusing, it turned out great! I think it should be rated 12 and under! anyways, if you are looking for a manga with an easy plot, comedy and great characters, this is the manga for you!
