Icy attorney melts in the arms of hunky naturalist.

When attorney Katherine Wilson is forced to go into hiding she did not expect, nor want, to find love. But she does with Kyle Spencer, the owner of Bonsai Trials (amongst other things) and the man guiding her through the Sierras. The chemistry between the two is potent and the setting and suspense subplot are quite good (it reminded me a bit of the 1980s Sidney Poiter thriller Shoot to Kill). Author Jill Shalvis shows a great deal of promise, she just needs to polish her writing style a bit. Recommended.
