Shotgun Marriage

Back cover reads: Ella Montague was invited to a wedding--her own! The inspiration behind the Cinderella Ball was simple--come single, leave wed. By midnight perfect strangers could find themselves married...as if by magic! When Ella Montague's Prince Charming had left her, she lost faith in fairy tales. But now Rafe Beaumont was back! The Montagues had destroyed his sister's life with their romantic nonsense--he wanted revenge. He'd marry Ella and break her heart... But once wed, Rafe discovered that marrying Ella hadn't broken her dreams of happily-ever-afters, but restored them! She'd married for love--now all she had to do was convince her stubborn husband!

3rd in the "Fairytale weddings" trilogy.

Another lovely read in this series, I really enjoyed it. I was sad to see it end. Then I found out there are 2 more books in this series. Book 4 "Bridegroom on approval" is also book 2 in the series with the Salvatore brothers. Book 5 is "Long-lost bride". So before I read Bridegroom on approval, I will read book 1 of the Salvatore brothers series "Who's holding the baby". I hate reading series books out of order. You get so much more when there is more than one, catching up on old friends.

He marries for revenge, she for love

Rafe Beaumont is a typical early Leclaire hero: tall, dark, handsome, protective of his family, and arrogant as all get-out. So, since his younger sister Shayne got her heart broken at one of the Cinderella Balls held by the Montague family, Rafe decides to put an end to the balls by marrying his former love interest Ella Montague, then leaving her and breaking her heart (thus proving that the Cinderella Balls' promise of true love is a sham). So off Rafe marches to the ball. He attempts to blackmail Ella into marrying him; she agrees because she actually still loves him. They marry, then he has an attack of conscience, confesses his scheme, and leaves her the same night, deciding to get his revenge by other means. But Ella is a pretty cool heroine, so after a short interval, she packs her bags and follows her brooding husband back to his home in Costa Rica. When she gets there, to her surprise, she is mistaken for La Estrella, a mythical figure supposed to bring happiness and prosperity to the area. Now if she could just bring happiness to her confused and revenge-minded husband . . . They eventually get it right. It just takes them a while.

Fairytale Wedding

Rafe Beaumont was back in Ella Montague's life. He wanted revenge for what the Montagues has done to his sister. So what was much a better way to do that than married Ella, the great Montague daughter, and then broke her heart by living her. It was a good plan until Rafe realized that the woman he married was not at all like he thought she was.
