A highly informative read

This little book is an interesting look into the United Society of Believers in Christ's Second Appearing, the Shakers. With wonderful clarity, it covers everything from the history of the Shakers, through their organization, worship styles, architecture, industries, and even daily life in a Shaker village. And, among the extras are a map of Shaker villages and museums, and a chart showing the rise and decline of the Shakers.This is a very nice book. Though written for younger readers, it is highly informative, and makes for a good introduction to the Shakers for any reader. I found this to be a highly informative read, and think that you will too. I highly recommend this book to you.
