Sassy fun tale from Moore

A very engaging romp from author Kate Moore. Athletic Lexy Clark is the envy of her few-pounds-overweight friends. When they complain about how their lives are so busy they cannot make time to have a regular exercise workouts, Lexy devises a plan how they can fit exercise into their lives. Killing two birds with one stone, Lexy pens a book called Workout Sex: A Girl's Guide to Home Fitness. Before you can say Katie Couric, Lexy is an overnight celeb! The country is crazy for her combination exercise in bed and have sex, giving your hubby a smile on his face and you a few less pounds! Only, the media craze that hits Lexy's life is more than she can stand. Since she can afford the move, Lexy cuts out for a quieter scene. She buys a remote Inn in Drake's Point, North of the Bay area that suddenly seems like a delight. No cable, no phone, no Internet and especially no one has read her book - or so she hopes. Though there is a problem with Not there long she meet Sexy Sam Worth, a handyman. They quickly slide into a no-strings affair. As their romance deepens and they begin to feel they can trust each other (Sam has his secrets, too!), Sexy Lexy's past catches up with her. It's a very sassy diverting tale. Both Lexy and Sam are strong characters quickly capturing your imagination and heart. There is a hint of more Moore's Drake's Points tales in the future. We can only hope!

A fabulous sexy book!

I just bought Sexy Lexy and stayed up until 2:00 in the morning reading about Lexy's adventures! Then I went out and bought a another book for my sister. She's going to love it and so will you. It's cute, it's fun and it's funny!

Sexy, spirited fun!!

This marvelous book really lives up to its title with a hot, hot hero who will make readers drool every bit as much as the book's female townsfolk and a heroine who wasn't looking for a man till this one swaggered into her life with a well-worn toolbelt and a grin that dared her to say no to him! Ms. Moore has created a warm and sassy story filled with humor and tantalizing, steamy characters. And through it all, she shares with us a tale of real heartfelt loyalty and emotion. This is the perfect read to bring on the warm weather!

amusing contemporary romantic romp

When fitness expert Lexy Clark authored the bestseller Workout Sex: A Girl's Guide to Home Fitness, she never anticipated males would assume she is loose. All she wanted to do was help her recently married friends enjoy needed exercise within their committed relationships. National TV host Stanley Skoff tries to embarrass "SEXY LEXY" with his handpicked testosterone audience and fitness stud. Instead Lexy walks off the show cutting short her fifteen minutes of being a national joke, albeit a wealthy one thanks to the hot sales. She travels to Drake's Point, north of San Francisco only to arrive in time for rutting season with literally a stag sniffing for females. A stranger rescues her from the big deer by pressing his body onto her until "Rudolph" left. Since Lexy informs Sam Worth she is not a tourist, he assumes she is running away and hiding in "Brigadoon" as he calls Drake's Point. Sam and Lexy are attracted to one another, but she distrusts anyone with the Y chromosome and he wants nothing to do with the famous once tasting that bitter brew. SEXY LEXY is an amusing contemporary romantic romp starring two affable lead protagonists ably supported by a horde of eccentric characters exposing the newcomer to Northern California chic. Sam is worth the cost of the novel as he is a caring hunk who wants Lexy, but fears she is one of the vile famous. Lexy is a fine protagonist who has traveled the road of good intentions, but some of her actions at the inn she purchased seems off kilter for her. Still the audience will appreciate this lighthearted frolic and want Moore Drake's Point tales. Harriet Klausner
