The dilemma of whether to cover up or display sexual identities during the course of anthropological fieldwork is an important part of the discipline. Contending that the conventional pose of a genderless, asexual ethnographic researcher is difficult to sustain, this volume shows sex and sexuality as essential components of ethnographic study.
