Cute Projects-but some are dated looking

I am an intermediate level sewer and I found several projects in here that I like. The projects are really clever and are "beginner" level so they are fairly easy and fun to make. The home dec projects are mostly Victorian or "country" and some projects seem dated to me. The projects for kids are cute, but some also have a dated feel. Overall, a good book but not for someone with hip, modern taste.
