Corinne Treloar was found dead by her daughter, Fiona Wilson draped head first in a bath of water, but something did not seem right. Sensing foul play and not an accident Wilson asked Dr Mark Altree to investigate. They had recently met at Morpehttville during a horse race meeting and Altree was about to start an exploration program in the Flinders Ranges. The scene in the house were made to look like a robbery or so Altree thought. His suspicions were further aroused on discovering from a dog walker that a darkly clad jogger had emerged from the house on the morning of the death. Who was the runner? Apart from robbery, what could the motif be to murder an elderly woman by making it look like she had fallen and drowned?
