Sequoia: by E.L.W

By Eldon Lee Whiteley

SEQUOIA is a mythic/comic/tragic fable about Bear King who has finally had enough... enough Human Things, enough colonizing, enough trash, enough pranks, enough fire, enough cruelty disguised as bonding, enough of everything that burns the world without understanding it.

When the Human Things invade the sacred forest with their maps, their measuring sticks, their clipboards, their delusions, and their "Happy Camper" cruelty, Bear King rises to defend the ancient Sequoias, some the oldest beings on earth. But the Firestorm that follows is bigger than any creature, any forest, or any myth.

This is a story about boundaries, about the cost of care, about the violence of entitlement, and about the quiet, ancient memory that refuses to die even when the forest burns.
