The book has been a great help as a resource in writing my dissertation on meaningful employment for adults with autism and all that entails.

great overview

This book is very clearly written. Bandura does a great job of addressing self-efficacy theory in different societal contexts (education, family, health). I highly recommend it both as an academic resource and as a personal read for anyone is interested in thinking about their perceived level of control shapes their life outcomes.

For efficacy issues there is no other!

Efficacy issues infiltrate every domain in every persons life. This book is Banduras greatest work in his quest to pioneer the concept he originated. Whether for personal interest or academic research all individuals in the domain of efficacy must become familiar with Banduras work--especially that contained within this work.
