The Israelites lacked knowledge of Mosaic law, lacked faith and eventually lost trust in God. They were in the midst of great prosperity and didn't have need of anything not even God. The Jews had no patience, no compassion on those who were in need. They were a sinful nation and God sent Hosea and other prophets to warn them of their coming destruction. The Christians today lack knowledge of Christ's Law, lack faith and trust in God and are headed toward the same ultimate destruction. The United Kingdom was no longer united. The Christian Kingdom is no longer united.
