Truly inspiring to kids!

I'd seen Millicent Selsam's science-based easy readers recommended on a curriculum list, and they really are great! My kids especially loved this one, and even weeks after my daughter finished reading it, she and her brother continue to look for the seeds in our food, collect and plant them. All kids today need more interest in the real world around them, and this book is perfect for that, besides being right at beginner reading level. Highly recommend!
