This memoir is a sequel to the author's first, "Grateful Son," published in 2014 at Amazon.com. It continues his experiences during the 30's and 40's in the old neighborhood of the East Village of Manhattan. Love, heartbreak, disappointment, and wonder highlight the interesting stories he and members of his family weave so well. The author cherishes the old block, with its tenements and town houses but in the end he clearly shows his love for the people he knew and lived with.
