I recall at age seven wanting to play Little League Football. My mother therefore signed me up, leaving my anticipation "higher than the sky"; until I experienced that first hit. "I don't want to play anymore" I told her. "Whatever you start, you must finish," she replied. My football career lasted 17 years, and for 17 years I was in football bondage. We all have, or have had some sort of bondage: -financial bondage -career bondage -family bondage -mental/physical bondage -etc.In a world full of shackles, how can one experience freedom? The rich are seeking to become richer. The educated are acquiring higher education. The materialist are obtaining more for "secure comfort." These realities are never ending! Therefore, we are left in a continuing state of enslavement. The wise man Solomon felt this bondage and sought freedom in every way one can imagine, but concluded that "all is vanity." [Ecclesiastes 12:8]Q: Living in such doomed reality, what hope is it?
