Millions of women suffer from a weak and damaged pelvic floor, which the medical establishment often treats with unnecessary surgery. Women frequently end up requiring multiple major surgeries, losing... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is amazing--only I would get the second edition which is more up to date (google it to get more details). It offers an amazing understanding of the body, and advice which is enabling countless women to live well with prolapse-and often even see vast improvements. This is a great companion to the DVD.
A seriously good alternative to pelvic surgery

An excellent book with serious explanations why routine pelvic floor surgeries don't work. Most women learn the hard way that prolapse surgeries generally fail; it's only a matter of time. The secondary effects are often worse than the reason for the surgery: incontinence, further prolapse, further surgeries etc. Please read this book and you may be pleased to find an alternative to life-changing surgery. Most surgeons are totally dependent on an understanding of female anatomy which simply is wrong. You owe it to yourself to learn about your body and how it is supposed to work.

This book helped me reverse my prolapse. My doctor could not believe that I had done this with just some simple exercises and posture recommendations. I truly recommend this book over surgery!!
Saving The Whole Woman

This book is really informative and interesting. All girls should have some knowlege of this before they get pregnant. I was considering another surgery, but think I will wait and weigh out my options. Especially since the author wrote about me to a T. And I don't want another surgery that either won't work or will cause me more problems in the long run.
Great reference for any woman

A few years ago, I discovered that I had a prolapsed uterus. My usual inclination is to try to find natural therapies or remedies that will support my body and restore health, resorting to medical solutions as a last resort. When I tried to get information on this subject, it was next to impossible. When prolapse is mentioned in a woman's health book, the information is scant, and usually suggests Kegel exercises (which were discouragingly useless for me) or surgical intervention. So, when I found this book while surfing the net, it was a welcome relief. It is packed with information on pelvic organ prolapse that you will not find anywhere else. The data regarding the structure of the pelvic floor and its relationship to a healthy and well-functioning body should be required reading for any woman with a body. :-DThe first couple of chapters dealing with pelvic anatomy and the musculature of the pelvic floor are very meaty, and as such, not always an easy read. However, there are good diagrams throughout that help to clarify the text.Thank you Christine Kent sharing this information. It certainly fills a need and is much appreciated.
