Lucious Photographs Make Book Appealing

An appealing pair of pictorials by Farcountry Press showcases two famous Texas cities, taking on Austin and San Antonio in high-quality color photographs. Each book tells a story without the need for a lot of words. The San Antonio book is steeped in its Spanish history, with the warm earthy hues of the missions, the gaudy fiesta colors of the Riverwalk, and the sun-washed blues of the skies. With both books, Parent manages to capture in his lens the essence of these two cities, from the frenzied rush of Austin traffic to the slow beat of time at the Alamo and the Menger Hotel. What a wonderful gift idea for a transplanted Texan. You can almost smell the bluebonnets!
