Great way to add to your enjoyment of running

This is such a thoughtful book in so many ways that it is difficult for me to express its value. If I were a writer I might be able to convey the richness that Dr. Kay's insight has added to my running time and even into my overall enjoyment of life. Take the time to read this little book and use Dr. Kay's ideas to expand your depth of thinking, and sensing your spirituality as you run. The more I practice his suggestions, the more I appreciate what already was a very enjoyable sport. And since the author is a full time college professor, he knows how to teach, which makes it simple and pleasant to learn as we go. When running is more fun and more rewarding mentally and spiritually it becomes easier to do and the benefits of improved health of body and mind are just wonderful extras. I hope I can encourage you to read this terrific book and I believe that the same kind of richness and satisfaction I experience will be added to your spiritual/running life as well.

This book is great!

I recently bought and read this book and I think it is great! It brings together two important parts of us as human beings--the physical and the spiritual. The author is an experienced runner himself and is also a theologian. Through this book he also shows that he is a great teacher. The book is well written. It is easy to read, but each paragraph has a lot of really interesting material and he includes questions to think about on your next run. So I would say this book is both practical and profound. All in all I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is a runner and who is interested in exploring the spiritual side of life.
