The Second Database Book You Should Buy

When you finish this book, you will actually be able to write a database--that is, if you work through all the examples. And who wouldn't work through all the example programs in a computer book if they really wanted to know how to use a program? The examples that you work through are also on the included CD-ROM, so if you get lost, you can see how the database should be properly written. The database on the CD-ROM is a fully functioning database. By referring to it, you can learn how a database should work. I knew nothing about databases when I bought this book, and now I am writing databases. I refer to this book constantly, and rarely refer to the Microsoft manuals included with Access. Obviously, I recommend this book, which is the second excellent Viescas' book I've used. The first database book you should buy? Database Design for Mere Mortals by Mike Hernandez.
