It does not disappoint

I had my eye on this graphic novel for awhile now. And it did not disappoint. I dove into this book just knowing that the main characters just had their arranged marriage, and that was it. I've never watched Bridgerton before but I do read regency books from time to time. Though there are titles and status mentioned, it did not focus too much on it, and I appreciate the "quiet" life that was represented in this graphic novel. I liked that they were talking about every day home affairs, actual problems, and of course, the romance. This is not for under 18 that is for sure. However, the art works so well for the story. This is definitely not your Marvel and DC comics. This one focuses on the story, but it does not skimp on the facial reactions and emotions of the characters which I appreciate. The story is simple and nice, and it's not creating anything new, but it was a satisfying read and very entertaining indeed.
