Excellent means to effectively teach process skills

Ostlund and Mercier have put together a concise, practical guide for teaching the science process skills. I used the simple-to-setup, motivational activities to introduce my students to the basics of science that they'll need to use throughout the school year. The lessons are organized, wonderfully illustrated and "ready to go." The 9 summary pages work well as classroom posters to reinforce the concepts and remind the students of what they've learned. One minor problem: I use the term "experiment" where they use "investigating." Definitely a teacher's book that I'll use again and again. I hope they have another book in the works.
