A new art form invented beneath the radar

History will remember Jeff Wells as one of the first cartographers of the holographic universe.

I'd start here

I've been a long time reader of Jeff's blog and was familiar with most of his posts but having them in one collection for easy perusing found me reading the book straight through over the weekend. The book is as addictive as one long sheet of bubble wrap that is impossible to put down. And while some of the popping is enjoyable for releasing tension on some big questions, some of what gets popped can be preconceived notions. I've always appreciated how Jeff does a masterful job of traveling to the outer edges without succumbing too much to magical thinking or the occupational hazards of hysteria and paranoia. If you want a guide into deep politics, I'd start here. You need someone with a clear head, and more importantly someone who recognizes when it's impossible to have a clear head. Naturally I don't agree with all of Jeff's conclusions, but I definitely think he is asking the right questions.

See why Jeff Wells is such fascinating reading

I've been reading Jeff's blog, Rigorous Intuition, for a few years and I'm always impressed by the new material he presents. I've been following the conspiracy and high weirdness scene for the last 12 years and Jeff always brings out new takes on forgotten things I had read, as well as stuff I never knew. What I most appreciate is his ability to put the brakes on wild speculation and show how much more weird things that really happened are. This is more than simply a greatest hits collection from his blog. The selections are organized well along common themes. And the selections cover the gamut of topics from UFOs to 9/11. Also, a few of the selections seem like they've been expanded since they were on his blog. The book is at times funny, at times terribly sad or disturbing, but always extremely fascinating. I highly recommend it whether or not you are familiar with his blog.
