Better, but also missing a bit of the campiness of the first three

The conflicts and themes and stuff of this book are more complex and interesting than the last ones. Her writing has really improved, I’m happy for her! Juliette’s evolution in this book is MUCH better written than in the first three books. At the same time, however, there's just something kind of flat about the writing/characters. I'm pleased that it's improved, but I still wouldn't say the writing is good. Also, the wackiness of the writing was something I really enjoyed about the first trilogy, and that's sadly lacking now that Juliette is supposedly better mentally. :/

3rd Book Is Best

This book was okay compared to the three that came before it. It was cliche at times, but overall a good plot with a good execution
