GREAT!

If you are looking for a wonderful devotional book to read this year, I strongly recommend Rest Assured. This book is the balm for a busy life of doing too much on your own, making too many commitments, and putting too much on your calendar. Don't let the short devotionals fool you, each day you will walk away learning more about God. This devotional gives you the feeling of sitting in a coffee shop across from a friend. Nancy challenges the reader to "cultivate stillness on the inside even when there is chaos on the outside," to "turn worries into prayers and fears into faith," and to "make it a practice to memorize scripture so you will never be without reason to believe God." Nancy's desire is for each reader to "draw near to God daily and find rest for your soul."

Good little devotional

This is a good little devotional. The 90 day format is not too overwhelming and it includes reflective questions and a group guide. The comments have thoughtful twists on commonly quoted and rarely read verses. It is a beautiful, hardbound book. I passed it on as gifts to a busy young mom and a college student friend.

A FABULOUS DEVOTIONAL BOOK

This is a wonderful devotional book...full of depth as well as humor and real life examples that everyone can relate to. I learned something new from each devotional. By the end of the book, I really felt as if I had gained so much insight about applying God's principals and promises to everyday life. One of the great things about this book is that it is for everyone..teenagers, young adults, adults, male and female. It is the perfect gift for all occasions. Trust me, you will experience a real "rest" by reading Rest Assured.
