Repent of Your Repentance

By Samuel D Thomas Sr

What if repentance never meant what you were taught?

For generations, many pulpits have proclaimed that sinners must clean up their lives, turn from every sin, and prove they have repented enough before God will save them. But is that truly the gospel presented in Scripture?

In Repent of Your Repentance: Returning to the Gospel of Grace, Samuel D. Thomas Sr. examines the biblical meaning of repentance and challenges the belief that salvation depends upon personal reform, religious works, penance, or self-righteousness.

You do not have to make yourself clean before coming to Christ. You do not have to bring promises, achievements, or proof that you deserve His mercy. Come with empty hands-he does the cleaning.
