This is a clinical case study conducted at the Prof. Bocar Sidy SALL University Hospital in Kati. The main objective was to report a rare case of unilateral renal oncocytoma in an adult. Renal oncocytoma is a rare benign tumor of the kidney of epithelial origin, accounting for 5% of renal tumors. Preoperative diagnosis is difficult. Imaging findings are often suggestive of the condition. A definitive diagnosis can only be made based on the surgical specimen. Surgical exploration remains the standard approach in the absence of a renal biopsy to obtain an accurate histological diagnosis. We report the case of a 41-year-old patient with a confirmed renal oncocytoma following an extended total nephrectomy for a renal tumor.
