Great Read

4.5 stars if given the option. Katie is mother to Alexandros twin boys, which he doesn't become aware of until 9 months after their birth. Alexandros and Katie had an affair almost two years previous and broke up because he freaked after she declared her love for him. Alexandros wasn't able to except Katie's love because of the tragic relationship he was recently getting over, so decided to push Katie away rather then deal with his confused feelings for her. Katie and Alexandros are brought back together after Katie seeks his assistance with the twins, because of her desperate situation and finally realizing that he should be held responsible for assisting her to raise them. Alexandros is a bit arrogant and can't understand how Katie can reject and challenge him as she does, because no other woman has ever done so. This book was a great read, the characters where likeable and well matched. Even though the heroine is desperately poor, she doesn't allow the hero to run over her to get what he wants.

Nice quick read!

From the back: Single mother of twin boys, Katie didn't want their father, Greek billionaire Alexandros Christakis, back in her life. But poverty pushed her to ask for his help. Alexandros demanded that Katie marry him. They had nothing in common--except their mutual burning sexual attraction, but resistance was futile: both the twins and Katie needed Alexandros. She would submit to becoming his mistress... Harlequin books have a space limitation which don't always allow the characters or story to develop satisfactorily. Having said that, Lynne Graham is one of the few authors who manages to make full use of that and pen a very romantic and sweet story. The characters were likeable, their actions made sense and most of all, the story was very meaningful and fulfilling. I couldn't have asked for more!
