Relentless Pursuit

By: Leonard, Allecia

Relentless Pursuit is the personal experience of a young woman who found herself facing pain, addiction, depression, etc., while struggling to see her place in this world, feeling unwanted and insignificant. Weaved throughout this book is a story of faith, not only the redemptive story of Jesus bringing beauty from ashes but the pursuit of a Father right in the thick of it with us. This book seeks to empower readers to see the pursuit of a loving Father throughout their entire story, not just in the good parts or moments. Where was He in the pain? Where was He in the trauma? What did He think of you when you felt worthless, abandoned, and used? Has He really been working all things together for your good this whole time?

Relentless Pursuit causes you to examine your own story and seeks to break the religious mindset that we must pursue God first so that He will pursue us. It empowers you to live a life knowing you are pursued no matter how far you've run or are running from God. This book challenges your perspective on who you've been told God is and who you've believed you are. It challenges your ideas of the church, culture, and what a life actually looks like following Jesus. This personal story invites you to look deeper into your own story, shaping the way you view your past, present and future going forward. Lastly, Relentless Pursuit leaves you with the two questions that I believe will shape your life and legacy the most: Who is God to you, and who are you to Him?
